For the past few days, everytime I listen to some heavy bass songs, I get the high pitching sound in my left ear. It doesn’t go away until I wake up from sleep.

If the music is too loud then it can be upsetting your ear drum making It sensitive and swollen, if the music is quite low and you are getting the same ringing it could be something like tinnitus yes.
If its disturbing you get it checked out by your doctor tinnitus can be really annoying….
Yes, it might be tinnitus. Loud sounds are one of the reasons for tinnitus whether you are exposed to it for a short or long time. This may cause hearing loss because hair cells get damaged in the process.
The first thing you should really do is to consult a doctor and have a full diagnosis of your experience. Try not to be stresses by scenario your in because this might just worsen your predicament.
